Fairfax House is a Georgian style house in 1762 which today is a museum of decorative arts. Tourists will be able to see period furniture, crystal chandeliers and silk wallpaper. The museum is located on Castlegate in York city centre. It is forbidden to take pictures or to film when in the house so don’t even bother taking your cameras with you. All in all Fairfax House is a great destination to be enjoyed by the whole family.
